Jeremy de Beer
I am a third year student at Rhodes University, South Africa. I am majoring in Legal Theory and Journalism and Media Studies, with plans to pursue an LLB for postgrad and ultimately a career in law. I was born and raised in Durban, living much of my life in a bubble. It was only upon arriving at university that I truly began to use my empathy and expand my worldviews, challenging myself every day to try and understand something further.
My favourite colours are blue and green, and seeing dogs brings me joy. Aside from that I would describe myself as a proponent of escapism and a hard worker who believes that focussing on your goals is half the job done. Aside from that, it’s simply about smiling at the right people at the right time.
